 A new generation of size 2.5” encoder has been engineered by Encoder Products Company (EPC), manufacturers of the Accu-Coder™ brand of encoders. The Model 25T incorporates the latest advances in EPC’s Opto-ASIC technology in a resilient composite low profile housing that boasts the largest bore sizes, up to 1.125”, in a 2.5” encoder. EPC’s Model 25T offers high precision resolutions of up to 10,000 cycles per revolution, with frequency ratings of up to 1 MHz. The unique housing design features “cooling fins”, allowing the Model 25T to tolerate high speeds of fast revving motors and extreme operating temperatures. Designed specifically for motor feedback, the Model 25T offers a variety of unique mounting options and is the ideal, single solution for applications which have historically relied on encoders ranging from 2.0” to 3.5” in diameter.
