 The RV-C is equipped with a large center hole for when space optimization is a premium and dimensional constraints are a concern. The new RV-C hollow shaft reduction gear has 20-30% higher torque capabilities than the current model and its patented 2-stage epicyclic RV design provides high-end performance: · High positional accuracy – less than 1 arc-min · High shock load capacity – 5 times rated torque · High efficiency (92%) with low noise and low vibration The RV-C has integrated angular ball bearings, which provide support to external loads, increase moments of rigidity and maximize allowable moments - thereby reducing the need for external support structures. The RV-C has several models available with torque ranges from 868 in-lbs to 43,398 in-lbs with a maximum of 216,991 in-lbs for E-Stop. RV-C gear ratios are available from 100:1 thru 250:1. Center hole sizes available: 1.22 inch – 5.78 inch.
