Micos USA, a leading supplier of precision motion control technology, announces the introduction of low cost linear Piezo Stages with travel ranges of up to 30 mm.

Available models include PP-30, LPS-30 linear stages and EPS-30 elevation stage

Extremely compact package for space restricted environments, i.e., a stage with 8 mm travel measures 30mm (l) x 30mm (w) x 12.5mm (h)

Direct x-y-z mounting without the use of mounting brackets

Open and closed loop versions available

Resolutions of 50 nm (lower resolutions available soon)

Velocity up to 2 mm/sec

Load capacity of up to 1kg

No position "drift" at target position due to new innovative piezo motor

Motor can be powered off at target position without change in position

Backlash-free operation

Vacuum (HV) and low temperature configurations (77K) available

PiCo Controller options allow control through hand-held operation or via computer interface (RS-232 or USB available). One controller drives up to 3 axes.
