 Encoder Products Company Introduces The TR2 Rack and Pinion Tru-Trac Backlash B-Gone! Encoder Products Company has developed a linear encoder solution with no back-lash and no slippage. The Model TR2 is an integrated encoder and rack and pinion gear assembly; a versatile solution for tracking velocity, position, or distance in almost any application. With the Rack and Pinion gear system, encoder readings can be obtained with repeatable positioning, in any orientation, even up side down! Stainless steel racks can be ordered in varying lengths, for unlimited rack length options. The TR2 has a spring loaded torsion arm providing the same flexibility and simple installation as the original TR1 Tru-Trac, proving the new TR2 is on the right Track for success!
