 EPC Offers New Body Mount M12 Connector Option For Small Thru-bore Encoder Encoder Products Company’s (EPC), manufacturer of Accu-Coder™ brand encoders, has added the popular Model 260 encoder to the line up of Accu-Coders available with a body mount M12 connector. This new connector is well on its way to revolutionizing the electrical connection standard for the encoder industry. The M12 connector is the connector of choice for many other motion control components, such as proximity sensors and photoelectric switches. Using this new connector may allow a user to reduce stocking requirements for cord sets and similar components, since they may be able to be used not only for encoder connections, but also for many other components of motion control systems.
