This design utilizes flux vector control algorithm for higher dynamic response and improved noise immunity. Sine wave commutation from encoder feedback results in smooth torque at low speeds for demanding motion control applications. Most common applications are robotic, linear and direct drive requirements.Designed for use with DC, Brushless DC, or Brushless AC (vector control) servo motors, with both RS232 and 485 serial communications. This series of AC Smart drive was designed for optimum performance in a small package, as a value solution. The package measures just 4.1 in (104mm) by 2.5 in. (64mm). The ACS50 provides 6 Amps of peak current or .33Kw of power, with a DC input of 12 to 36 VDC.
