The SCD series employs an open-loop, Hall effect configuration which allows sensing of AC and DC currents. Suited for a number of applications including over-current alarm or shut-down, power efficiency and control, inverters, and current commutation, the unit measures only 12 x 16 x 16 mm. The SCD series accepts a +12 V input and is available in 3A, 5A, 10A, 15A, 20A and 30A rated current models. Features include over current protection to 10 times the rated current, a response time of 5µs, and an operating temperature of -10° to 75° C.
