Product ReleaseHD SYSTEMS INC has a NEW, Harmonic Planetary Gearhead Size 50, Backlash Less than 1 arc-min for Life Harmonic Planetary® HPG Series from HD Systems is now available in size 50 with a backlash level of less than 1 arc-min. This backlash level is maintained for the life of the gearhead. The HPG Size 50 has a 170mm square mounting flange and is just 175mm long. The gearhead has a rated torque of 2,610 in-lb and a maximum torque of 16,375 in-lb. HPG Series gearheads are now available in gear ratios from 5 to 45:1.Patented technology provides this gearhead with consistently low backlash, high efficiency, and high torsional stiffness. Applications including automation equipment, semiconductor equipment, and machine tools can take advantage of this innovative product.
