The popular Neugart PLE60 and PLE80 gearheads are now available as “Green-Box”. What is it? We are calculating / analyzing the carbon footprint of the product for two reasons:

1. To find out which production, transportation, and handling processes contribute most to the CO2 footprint and subsequently optimize the processes to reduce the footprint.
2. To determine the overall carbon footprint and to offer participation in investments to offset a portion or even make it “carbon neutral”.

Hence we offer our customers the option, for a small contribution (surcharge depending upon the footprint reduction) to be part of a growing trend – being more environmentally conscious.

Some may say it is gimmick; others will value Neugart’s activity for a cleaner planet.
