Delta Adds Resolver Feedback Interface to RMC150 Motion Controllers

Delta Computer Systems, Inc. announces more rotary motion capability by adding absolute position feedback with a resolver interface module for the multi-axis RMC150 motion controller.

Resolver applications may include position or speed control and also can be used in applications requiring pressure or force control when combined with other RMC150 and RMCTools software capabilities.

"Customer demand continues to grow for deterministic closed loop resolver feedback applications in the aerospace, energy and metals industries." stated Peter Nachtwey, President of Delta Computer Systems, Inc. "This resolver addition allows the RMC150 to control actuators exposed to high temperatures, vibration, shock, radiation and other harsh conditions where encoders don't survive," Nachtwey added.

Delta's RMC150 motion controllers with RMCTools software are available with up to 8 resolver feedback axes in increments of 2 axes per resolver module. The resolver interface adds to the more than 500 different combinations of SSI, MDT, analog, and quadrature feedback available on the RMC150 Motion Controller.
