CUI's 2 W SIP Converters Offer 4:1 Input Range

V-Infinity, a division of CUI Inc, announces a new series of 2 W dc-dc converters with an ultra wide 4:1 input range. The VWQAS2 and VWQBS2 series of converters have input ranges of 9-36/18-72 V dc. The VWQAS2 has dual outputs of +/-5, +/-9, +/-12, and +/-15 V dc. The VWQBS2 has single outputs of 5, 9, 12, and 15 V dc. The converters are enclosed in an 8-pin SIP package measuring 1.03 x 0.38 x 0.50”. Their small size makes them ideal for use in test & measurement equipment, machine controls, and wireless applications.

Other features of the VWQAS2 and VWQBS2 include 1500 V dc isolation, external on/off control, and short circuit protection. All converters in the series are RoHS compliant and have an operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C. This series excels in applications where isolation is required between input and output or when output ripple noise and output voltage must be regulated. OEM pricing starts as low as $10.89 per unit.
