Product ReleaseCUI V-Infinity SIP Converters Offer Wide Inputs
 V-Infinity is now promoting 1W and 2W dc-dc converters that are designed to take up less space on the pc board while offering a 2:1 input range. The RoHS compliant units are offered in a fully encapsulated 8-Pin SIP package measuring 0.87x0.47x0.37 inches. With efficiencies as high as 82%, the VWRAS and VWRBS series are able to operate at full load from -40 to 71 °C. The units are capable of operating up to 85 °C at 60% load. Available input voltages ranges include 4.5 to 9 V, 9 to 18 V, 18 to 36 V, and 36 to 72 V. The single output VWRBS series delivers regulated output voltages of 5, 9, 12, and 15V while the dual output VWRAS series delivers regulated output voltages of +/-5, +/-9, +/-12, and +/-15V. Features include I/O isolation of 1,500 Vdc and short circuit protection. OEM pricing starts as low as $6.40 per unit.
