With increased low speed center distance, coupled with greater clearance for wider faced gears, the 562 allows for close to twice the continuous torque ratings! (1100 in-lbs. continuous vs. competitor’s 600 in-lbs.) Also, the 562 offers an optional 4th stage of gear reduction; providing ratios up to 2200:1 in the same envelope, allowing for a smaller input motor without sacrificing output torque.
