3M announces an addition to the cable assembly family for Camera Link camera-to-framegrabber connection in machine vision applications. With an overmolded, right-angle cable drop, the newest version of the MDR Camera Link Full Configuration product line is ideal for space constrained applications that require the full bandwidth offered under the Camera Link standard.

The space-saving design of the new MDR Camera Link Full Configuration Cable - Right Angle Exit allows direct cable drops by virtually eliminating the cable bend radius requirements of traditional straight exit products, enabling tighter equipment placement and freeing up valuable manufacturing floor space for other uses.

The new MDR Camera Link Full Configuration Cable meets EU RoHS requirements and is labeled in accordance with China RoHS marking standard SJ/T 11364-2006.

3M is one of the recognized industry leaders in Camera Link connectivity, and the 26-position MDR connector from 3M is currently the only known MDR connector approved by the Automated Imaging Association for its Camera Link Standard.
