ABOUT iC-Haus
iC-Haus develops and manufactures application-specific standard products (ASSPs), application-specific integrated circuits (ASiCs) and is a leading specialist for monolithic mixed-signal circuits and microsystems. Our wafer backend, chip-assembly- and test-facilities are located in Bodenheim near Frankfurt in the center of Europe. Our subcontracted wafer foundries and assemblers are situated all over the world and assure reliable, secondsourced products and deliveries. Quality engineering has been established in international standards, such as ISO9001. iC-Haus products are authorized for automotive, military and industrial use and follow FMEA methods and safety requirements. Technologies
Our range of technologies covers high voltage, linear bipolar, high density and analog CMOS and power BCD processes. With optional optolayers we have created OPTO-ASiCs, monolithic microsystems which have integrated sensors. Assembly is performed in standard plastic packages and for the OPTO and power ICs in the Chip-On-Board/Flex and Flip-Chip technique. Packaging can be customized, e.g. with multi-chip-modules; furthermore, the chip layout and circuit topology is tailored to customer's individual requirements, resulting in exclusive ASiCs from iC-Haus.

Evaluation board MN1D with high resolution 3 channel sine interpolation from iC Haus
Posted Aug 30 2010

A new ready-to-operate evaluation board is now available for high-resolution, 3-channel sine-to-digital converter iC-MN. It can be connected up to Hall or magnetoresistive angle sensors, or photosensor arrays in optical encoders. Plug-in sockets ease the testing of application-specific wiring using optional components. High-precision SAR converter iC-MN resolves phase angles from sine/cosine signals of up to 13 bits and has an excellent angle accuracy of typically 0.1 degrees.
Both the gain and the offset and phase correction of the integrated instrumentation amplifiers can be set

iC MFL 8 channel fail safe FET driver with AEC Q100 qualification by iC Haus
Posted Aug 04 2010
Filed under: Electronic Component Integrated Circuit Sensors

iC-MFL is a monolithically integrated, 8-channel level shifter to drive Logic FETs. The internal circuit blocks have been designed in such a way that with single errors, such as open pins or the short-circuiting of two outputs, the iC-MFL output stages switch to a predefined, safe state. Externally connected FETs therefore shut down safely in the event of a single error. The device is now qualified for typical SIL/ASIL applications according to AEC Q100

iC MZ Differential Hall Switch for Position Sensing
Posted Jul 13 2010

iC-MZ is an integrated device consisting of a differential Hall switch with back-end complementary line drivers. The two integrated Hall sensors are set 2 mm apart and sense the difference in magnetic field. Magnetic DC fields are not evaluated; this means that besides the direct scanning of magnetic pole wheels with an additional bias magnet ferromagnetic gear wheels can also be detected. The magnetic input frequencies range from DC to 40 kHz. Magnetic DC fields of up to 500 mT are tolerated.
A magnetic difference in signal of 5 mT is sufficient to switch the

iC MSB Sine signal conditioner with a 1Vpp line driver
Posted Apr 20 2010

iC-MSB is a signal conditioner with a fault-tolerant line driver for sine/cosine sensors which are used to determine positions in linear and angular encoders, for example. Precision instrumentation amplifiers with differential current or voltage inputs are available for three channels and can be set independently with regard to amplification, offset and phase correction. An integrated controller supplies the sensor with power and ensures that the chip's output levels are stabilized to 1Vpp exactly. At the same time the finely adjustable calibration parameters permit an utmost degree of accuracy during the ensuing interpolation process.
