Cognex Corporation, the world's leading supplier of machine vision systems and vision sensors, announced at the PackExpo show in Las Vegas, the In-Sight® 5400S, a stainless steel vision sensor suitable for the toughest environments. The In-Sight 5400S is an industrial-grade vision sensor that meets IEC specifications for shock and vibration, and achieves an IP68/NEMA 6P rating that stands up to chemical wash down and submersion. "The In-Sight 5400S provides protection from harsh manufacturing environments without the added cost and complexity of an accessory enclosure," said Kris Nelson, Cognex Senior VP, Vision Sensors.
