New Fastech Ezi-STEP®ALL is a high speed precision microstep drive, controller and stepping motor integrated into one robust package, Ezi-STEP®ALL is unique due to its new control scheme based on a built in high performance DSP (digital signal processor) and software. The onboard controller eliminates costly support systems and can easily digitally network up to 16 axis together to a host controller or operate stand alone.
Ezi-STEP®ALL utilizes an exclusive position estimation algorithm which instantaneously detects out of synchronization of the stepping motor rotor, which is not available with conventional stepping motor & drives. Ezi-STEP®ALL software provides damping, filtering, high speed loss of synchronization detection and provides a Run/Stop signal output.
Features are Network based Motion Controller with Position Table Function (allows for direct control by digital input and output signals of a host controller), Sensor-less Stall (Step-out) Detection without external sensor, effective over 300 RPM, Drive Output Signal, Software Damping (FASTECH minimizes step motor vibration at the low speed range without a mechanical damper), Run/Stop Signal Output, Microstepper Driver and Controller built into the motor to radically minimize wiring and wiring errors, size and space. Ezi-STEP®ALL is available in NEMA 17, 23 and metric 60 frame sizes.
