Sensitron’s Series of COTS Remote Solid State Power Controller Boards are microcontroller-based, Solid State Power Controller (SSPC) boards designed for 28VDC applications. The RPC boards combine the functionalities of electro-mechanical circuit breakers, solid state relays and system health monitors. The Diamondback Series low cost RPC Boards are used in military and aerospace applications where size, weight and power are critical in meeting design requirements. These RPC boards are built with a flexible design, holding 16 independent electrical channels on a single board. Each channel of the Diamondback has software-programmable current ratings and can operate grouped with other channels to support loads up to 150A, each channel programmable from 0.25 to 25A.
These COTS Multi-Channel boards have integrated current, temperature and voltage sensing and no derating over temperature. Parameter measurements, system status information and control commands are issued over a serial communications interface. Communication interfaces include CAN, RS-232, etc.
