ACS Motion Control, a manufacturer of advanced motion control products, announced the release of: SPiiPlus 3U High Performance Multi-axis Motion The advanced SPiiPlus 3U multi-axis motion controller opens new possibilities for demanding applications including semiconductor, FPD, bio-medical and industrial automation equipment. The SPiiPlus 3U utilizes a distributed multi-processor architecture running an on-board RTOS. The architecture provides a fixed 20kHz servo update for every axis and guaranteed deterministic control. All SPiiPlus products feature standard Ethernet and serial communications, hardware position compare and capture, and a unique set of development tools including a full software Motion Simulator and FRF analyzer. Optional features include integrated SIN-COS interpolators and Input ShapingTM.
