BISON Now Manufacturing Custom AC Motors

Bison Gear and Engineering Corporation offers their new line of custom AC motors are manufactured in their St. Charles, IL facility.

These motors are available in the 34 and 49 frame. The 34 frame (3.3” OD) will have a power range of 1/80 HP (10W) to 1/10 HP (75W) with a 1/2” standard shaft diameter. The 49 frame (4.9” OD) will have a power range of 1/10 HP (75W) to 1/4 HP(185W) and will have a 1/2” standard shaft diameter. These motors are available as PSC, split phase, 3 phase and 3 phase inverter style. Several winding configurations are available to optimize performance, efficiency and cost.

Manufacturing in the USA allows Bison to react quickly to meet custom motor needs and offers the customer short lead times. Bison is a family-owned business that has been supplying gearmotors, reducers and motors for use in heavy-duty commercial products for more than 45 years.

Bison standard gearmotors are available up to 3hp/2.2kw, in both U.S. and European Union frequencies and voltages.
